Leanne Pilkington

REIA President and Power Players 2024 – Top 10 Real Estate Influencer in Australia.

Leanne is Chief Executive Officer and Director of boutique real estate network Laing+Simmons. She is the current President of the Real Estate Institute of Australia and was the longest serving President of the Real Estate Institute of NSW. She is also a Trustee on the REISuper Board. Leanne’s 40+ years’ experience covers the full spectrum of real estate services: sales, property management, retail and commercial leasing and management as well as property development. Being recognised in a range of awards such as Telstra and Optus Business awards and a number of industry Thought Leadership Awards, she is considered one of the industries most influential people. Leanne continues pioneering industry firsts, including being founder of the Real Women in Real Estate network holding events around the country, improving diversity on the REI Board and champions the growth of industry professionalism. Leanne is a licensed real estate agent, has completed her Property Valuation qualifications, and holds a Masters in Business Administration.
Corissa Venettacci

Breast Cancer Survivor and Ambassador.

Corissa was diagnosed with Lobular Breast Cancer in September 2021 post breast reduction a couple of years prior and noticing some significant changes to her right breast at 45 years of age. Now nearly four years post double mastectomy surgery, chemo and five weeks of radiation Corissa now has the opportunity to take up ambassadorships, radio and media opportunities as she wants to educate and advocate to all women, that mammograms are free from 40, to encourage ladies to do their own self checks monthly and regardless of any small insignificant changes, it’s so imperative to have them checked.

Emma is a Senior Associate in the Launceston Office and has over 20 years’ experience in commercial and property law having worked in Tasmania, Queensland and England & Wales during this time. Emma is admitted to practise in both Australia and England & Wales.
Jasmyn Smith

Jasmyn is a qualified electrician at All On Contracting, bringing over 9 years of experience across commercial, civil, and domestic electrical work. Passionate about supporting women in trades, she mentors apprentices and plays a key role in building a strong team culture. Beyond her trade work, Jasmyn co-runs The GO Company with another female electrician, a business focused on improving workplace hygiene and productivity.
