In the real estate industry, personal safety is paramount. You can find yourself in situations that can be unpredictable and sometimes risky, whether it’s during property inspections, open homes, or late-night calls.

​We’re excited to announce the launch of the Agent Protect workshop, a comprehensive session developed in collaboration with the APEX Personal Safety Roadshow.

The core Personal Safety Program will focus on practical self-defence, situational awareness, physical participation and understanding human behaviour. This will also incorporate an expanded de-escalation component, with particular attention to:

• Strategies for lone operators
• Female-to-male encounters
• Recognising escalating behaviour
• Verbal and non-verbal de-escalation techniques
• Creating distance, maintaining safety and knowing when to disengage

This session will also deliver a dedicated trauma-informed segment covering the psychological and emotional impact of an incident, recovery considerations and relevant lived experience.
