The Certificate III in Property Services (Agency) is suitable for front of house, support personnel or those just starting out.


 

What you will learn

The Certificate III in Property Services (Agency) has been developed to provide a qualification for office support staff which is of relevance to both employer and employee.  It is a nationally recognised qualification and, for those who are interested, provides the first step of a career path in the real estate industry.

 

Where the course may lead

Completion of the course will provide you with skills and knowledge relevant to your job role, furthering your career in real estate and providing a pathway to the Certificate IV in Property Services (Real Estate)

 

Delivery Method

Training is delivered  through distance learning, student’s progress will be evaluated through assignments,  maintenance of a training record book and a final workplace assessment. Due to its on-the-job training requirement this course is only available to those already employed in the real estate industry.

 

Duration

Duration of this course is generally 12-24 months.

 

Investment

Students undertaking a certificate course may qualify for funding which would contribute to the cost of the course. Employers may also be eligible for government incentive payments. These are conditional, contact the REIT Training Department to discuss payment options and pricing plans.

 

Qualification Rules

To achieve recognition at the Certificate III level, the candidate must demonstrate competency in the five core units, plus nine electives chosen a list of electives (14 units in total)

Certificate IV in Property Services (Real Estate) CPP40307

 The Certificate IV in Property Services (Real Estate) is suitable for Property Management, Sales, Office Administrators and people wanting to gain extra skills and take their first step towards a Diploma.


What you will learn

The Certificate IV in Property Services (Real Estate) has been developed to provide Property Consultants and Assistant Property Managers with the knowledge and skills to perform effectively in their job. It is a nationally recognised qualification and, for those who are interested, provides employees with an opportunity to have their expertise recognised formally and build a solid foundation for a career in real estate.

 

Where the course may lead

Completion of the Certificate IV provides the student with a strong lead into the Diploma of Property Services. The Diploma is the required qualification to register as a Real Estate Agent or Property Manager.

 

Delivery Method

Training is delivered either through distance learning or class based training, student’s progress will be evaluated through assignments, class based activities, maintenance of a training record book and a final workplace assessment. Due to its on-the-job training requirement this course is only available to those already employed in the real estate industry.

Diploma of Property Services (Agency Management) CPP50307

The Diploma of Property Services (Agency Management) is an extensive course.  It provides a substantial platform of knowledge to manage or open a business, become a partner or simply further your professional development.

NATIONALLY ACCREDITED TRAINING

The Diploma of Property Services (Agency Management) CPP50307 is a nationally recognised qualification and is the minimum requirement for registration as a real estate agent in Tasmania.

STUDY OPTIONS

Students are able to work through their qualification at their own pace either through face to face training or by distance learning. Students who have been in the industry for some time and have the relevant experience may apply for recognition of prior learning.

 

PROGRAM PRE-REQUISITES

In Tasmania it is a legislative requirement that candidates must have at least two years industry experience and a  Diploma of Property Services (Agency Management) to be a licensed Real Estate agent.  Further information can be obtained by contacting the Property Agents Board of Tasmania.  Candidates must also possess an adequate written and verbal grasp of the English language, suitable to both the AQF requirements, and the Employability Skills of the qualification they are undertaking. Further information on this is contained in the student information handbook.

 

COURSE FEES

The Cost of the full Diploma is generally around $5000 depending on the delivery mode and electives selected.

REIT Traineeship

The Certificate III and the Certificate IV may be available through a traineeship if the candidate is eligible to receive funding.


 

WHAT IS A TRAINEESHIP?

A traineeship is a structured program of training designed to equip students with the knowledge and skills to effectively perform their job. On completion, trainees receive a nationally recognised qualification. The real estate traineeship, generally 24 months in duration, has been created specifically for the real estate profession. You can be assured of quality training that meets current legislative and best practice requirements preparing you for a successful real estate career.
