Certificate III in Property Services (Agency) CPP30211
What you will learn
The Certificate III in Property Services (Agency) has been developed to provide a qualification for office support staff which is of relevance to both employer and employee. It is a nationally recognised qualification and, for those who are interested, provides the first step of a career path in the real estate industry.
Where the course may lead
Completion of the course will provide you with skills and knowledge relevant to you job role, furthering your career in real estate and providing a pathway to the Certificate IV in Property Services (Real Estate)
Delivery Method
Training is delivered either through distance learning or class based training, student’s progress will be evaluated through assignments, class based activities, maintenance of a training record book and a final workplace assessment. Due to its on-the-job training requirement this course is only available to those already employed in the real estate industry.
Duration
Duration of this course is generally 12 months. REIT also offers an accelerated course over three months, this will commence annually in May.
Investment
Students undertaking a certificate course may qualify for funding which will cover the majority of course fees. Employers may also be eligible for government incentive payments of up to $4400. These are conditional, contact the REIT Training Department to discuss payment options and pricing plans.
Qualification Rules
To achieve recognition at the Certificate III level, the candidate must demonstrate competency in the five core units, plus nine electives chosen a list of electives (14 units in total)

Certificate IV in Property Services (Real Estate) CPP40307
What you will learn
The Certificate IV in Property Services (Real Estate) has been developed to provide Property Consultants and Assistant Property Managers with the knowledge and skills to perform effectively in their job. It is a nationally recognised qualification and, for those who are interested, provides employees with an opportunity to have their expertise recognised formally and build a solid foundation for a career in real estate.
Where the course may lead
Completion of the Certificate IV provides the student with a strong lead into the Diploma of Property Services. The Diploma is the required qualification to register as a Real Estate Agent or Property Manager.

TRAINING OUTCOMES

Recently endorsed to reflect current industry practices and trends, this extensive course covers all you need to know to manage or open a business, become a partner or simply further your professional development.
STUDY OPTIONS
Students are able to work through their qualification at their own pace through either by face to face training or by distance learning. Students who have been in the industry for some time and have the relevant experience may apply for recognition of prior learning.
PROGRAM PRE-REQUISITES
Candidates must have at least two years industry experience before completion of the Diploma. Candidates must also possess an adequate written and verbal grasp of the English language, suitable to the AQF level, and the Employability Skills of the qualification they are undertaking. Further information on this is contained in the student information handbooks.
COURSE FEES
The Cost of the full Diploma is generally around $5500 depending on the delivery mode and electives selected.

WHAT IS A TRAINEESHIP?
A traineeship is a structured program of training designed to equip students with the knowledge and skills to effectively perform their job. On completion, trainees receive a nationally recognised qualification. The real estate traineeship generally 24 months in duration has been created specifically for the real estate profession.
