This unit of competency specifies the outcomes required to develop a business strategy to position the real estate agency successfully in the property market. It covers the development, implementation and review of strategic and operational marketing plans.

 This course will cover the following:

  • identifying business opportunities in the property market
  • developing agency business goals and strategies
  • knowledge of ethical and legislative requirements associated with agency business planning and marketing
  • undertaking market research to support the marketing of an agency
  • developing and implementing a marketing strategy for an agency
  • reviewing and adjusting agency marketing activities in response to changing business objectives and market conditions
  • development of an operational plan with details of how it will be implemented and monitored
